It is for freedom that you have been set free.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
Freedom rules with love.
Freedom allows you to become as God intends.
Freedom’s charge is grace, the power to live out God’s best.
Freedom is given because God loves.
Freedom draws and calls us to love and be loved by God.
I received a beautiful reminder from God, reminding me that Jesus paid the price for my freedom from all that would keep me from Him! From that place of freedom I can walk and live in God’s power and life, not perfectly, but always becoming more like Jesus. Jesus first sets us free. He does not demand perfection before freedom. He gives freedom, so the process of transformation can begin.
In Christ you are stamped, marked and sealed with His very own Spirit. You are His! When God looks at you, He sees you in Christ, seated in Heaven. Your old task master, slavery, would have you believe that Love must be earned. It just is not true. Slavery makes you work hard to get the job done right to gain acceptance. Slavery says that righteousness and love must be earned. Jesus died for you while you were yet a sinner, setting you free from slavery.
God loves you so! He sent Jesus to rescue you from slavery to sin and death. He bought your life with His own.
Jesus does not demand perfection, but offers transformation. Will you partner with Him today, allowing the process of transformation to begin?
